Let Us Say the Rumors Happen...

Hayward would start probably. If we're doing the clean-out-the-vets thing and taking back Green, we might give the Spurs Foye too, but I doubt the Spurs want that much upheaval late in the season when they have the best record in the league.

I think Popovich's system is making Kawhi Leonard look a bit better than he is. He's an adequate starting SF and a good defender, but I wouldn't say he's more than that.

team listed in OP would be a sure fire lottery team but the youth would get a lot of minutes and probably develop faster, and the team would get a higher pick instead of making the playoffs.

It was a link to some article so blow me.

Whoa now I wasn't directing anything toward you, just saying whoever came up with that rumor obviously had to be a Jazz fan. And yes right now I would rather start Splitter over Kanter.

I wasn't mad dip. We good.

I'm going to answer the original question under the assumption that we get Splitter, but not Leonard.

Man, that's a deep team. That big man rotation would be beautiful :) I think we'd be a playoff team, even in a competitive Western Conference. We'd be one of the younger teams, but we'd have a decent vet presence to help balance it out. We'd have defenders at every position, bullies down low, 3-point shooting, size, athleticism, and a competitive spirit. This is a team that Jazz Nation could get excited about.

Please, KOL, make this happen.

You seem to be back on your meds. Good.

Meds schmeds....the real fun is when you ride the ups and downs.

I like the team that it would igve us. Even keeping Carroll and not having Leonard is a very nice thing. As already statted. I think Jazz Nation as a whole could get excited for that team.

But it won't happen. We will probably foolishly lose Carroll, and re-sign Foye, Mo and either Tinsley/Watson as well as either Paul/Al, basically giving us the same squad.
