What's new

Let's enjoy the ride

If the Jazz trade Burke, then are you saying Neto will be the starting PG? And the only backup is Garrett with Burks the emergency third point. That is probably the worst PG rotation in the NBA.

No, they'll get a PG elsewhere--free agency, draft, etc. It means they aren't sold on Burke for the long haul, and they're leveraging him as a trade chip.

If you're like me, you made this thread trying to talk yourself into rooting for mediocrity. Yeah, we're the next Cleveland, Charlotte, and Minnesota yeah!

I'll admit I can be critical as hell of our players and before DL arrived, our FO, but for once, I just want to enjoy the ride. I don't feel we're as desperate as a year ago. True, this season was worse than the prior one, but the differences are, I have faith in Snyder and a real coaching plan, I have faith that we have a couple more building blocks (Burke, Gobert, Neto) than we did a year ago, I have faith that our assets can be used to make some real noise both tomorrow and going forward, and I have more faith in DL than I did a year ago after watching him snag three strong picks in a crappy draft.

Have faith with me my Jazz brothas and just enjoy the ride. No matter what we do tomorrow night, I'm gonna back the move(s) and get behind it and enjoy the ride. I can see a lot of upside in any of these players. So join with me. One for all and all for one.

Let's ****ing do this!
I with you.

I will be happy tomorrow night no matter what happens

Bull.

You can't tell me with a straight face that youd be happy if the jazz took McBuckets with the 5th pick!
True.

But i wouldnt be really upset.

I think mcbutteks will be good. But ya not at 5

I too have battled such demons. But no more.

Kneel before Father Lindsey.

Everything has built up to this moment that it's hard for me to look past it toward other options. I think the lack of strategery posting past this point says most are in the same boat.

Lead us in faith Father Lindsey and his promoter Quin's Public Hairs.

I absolutely hate the anticipation of what might or might not happen even if I can't control it. I really wish tomorrow was already over with or the draft for that matter.
