I wouldn't mind experimenting with AK at the backup PG, but in the one or two occasions that he was the best remaining option for the 1, Kiri did only so-so; not great. It's only a benefit to make matchups uneven when Utah is on defense. But KOC, please find us a backup point who can distribute the ball and defend a bit. Is Watson too expensive?

Actually Gaines had a lot of trouble bringing up the ball when someone defended him the whole way. Ronnie Brewer really was the only other play besides Price and Dwill who could dribble the ball well enough to do it. I think Miles can do it also.

You mean AK never comes out to the top of the circle to catch a pass and initiate the offense? Could have sworn that was the case - and one of the big reasons he was made a backup to CJ.
