No it isn't. Bynum was traded to the Bulls then released. Bynum was going to be released anywhere he went.
Well, for the real smart reason to pick him up it is too late.
Yeah, Bynum and Corbin will only be fighting about whos going to win the melee at the buffet after the game.I don't see the point anymore. The idea was to get rid of a veteran on this team that was actually playing well to help get the tank back on track. What does signing Bynum but still having Jefferson on the team do for us? Nothing...
Also, what if Bynum suddenly decides he likes basketball again and plays well...knowing Corbin's love for veterans, you could see Favors or Kanter sitting on the bench more.
I don't care about the tank as much as I care about player development, so no.
I think if we just played our young guys, the tank would be fine and the players would get better.
