Line-ups/Rotations You'd Like to See

Basically most people want to see less of Conley which really sucks being that he was our big time acquisition.

We really just need Conley to play much better and everything would take care of itself.

I mean if he were shooting 36% from 3 and 44% from the field (last year's numbers for him. His career numbers are 37% and 44%) then we would probably only have 1 or 2 losses and no one would want any changes.

Having Conley play more of his minutes and use more of his possessions with a pick-n-pop target makes sense (Green, Bojan).

Giving Joe some kind of PnR target makes waaaay too much sense, but...

What is the finish to your sentence? Quin?

It’s a list of things. It includes DL and Zanik, who haven’t stocked the bench with a roller besides Jeff Green (I’m not even going to count Bradley, since he’s proving to be too soft to execute his talents). It includes Quin, who can’t seem to get Joe and Green together. It includes the rest of the bench, who can’t seem to hit their shots and swing the ball around to create the right environment to take advantage of the advantages produced by Joe’s playmaking.

Brantley as smallball 5. Gotta see it.

Conley
Mitchell
Joe
Bojan
Brantley

I mean if they are going to try Jeff Green there then why the hell not.

Have we seen one PnR featuring Conley and Bojan?
Not that I can recall. Seems like a good match.

I would like to see more of bojan in the offense in general. Though I feel that way partly just because he has been making shots. Just seems like guys who I would normally think of as reliable shooters (Joe ingles 30% from three, and Conley) haven't been making wide open looks. They are shooting like Rubio.

Those guys getting back closer to the mean should make us look much better imo

That curl he does around the Rudy screen at the top of the key towards the basket seems to work like every time. If the big drops then Bojan is tall and has a running start... Rudy is there to clean up stuff. If they drop another player we have shooters Bojan can find... I need to see that action at least twice as much as I'm currently seeing it.

Pretty much. If we’re bleeding there anyway, might as well try that new weird gauze.

I've seen enough rookies making an impact this season that I'm all for throwing some **** against the wall and seeing what sticks. Brantley's defense on Giannis this pre-season and his general puppy energy make me think he could do some **** out there... at very least it'd probably be more entertaining than Green and Bradley.

I'm guessing that Exum running the pick and roll with Gobert will be more effective than Conley. For one thing, Exum's size and length makes it much easier to deliver passes in the paint, especially passes that require pinpoint timing after the big commits or doesn't commit to the ball handler. Exum can just pass over the top of the defense most the time, and he has been very good at delivering lobs to Rudy at the rim. The other thing is that it's much easier for Exum to finish at the rim than Conley. Exum's length lets him just reach out and lay the ball in, while Conley has to flip up an off-balance lay-up or floater.

The main advantage that Conley has is the ability to hit 3s off the dribble or step into a mid-range jumper if the defense sags off him, but so far he hasn't been hitting those shots at a very high rate.
