You're overthinking this, Doc Rivers may not be on par with Popovich and Phil Jackson when it comes to game planning and in-game adjustments, but at least he knows how to put his best players in the starting lineup. Something our coach still hasn't figured out after 2.5 seasons...Doc Rivers did not win this game because of coaching prowess. He won it because he has two HOFs on his squad.
Not sure what role he played in drawing up several Paul Pierce isos, or Kevin Garnett's unbelievable P&R-busting ability.
