Last 10 games: +20.6 net rating (only Blazers and Spurs lineup with more minutes and better net rating)

Post All-Star: +24.0 net rating (Only Sixers lineup with more minutes and better net rating)
Last 10 games: +18.7 net rating (only Blazers and Spurs lineup with more minutes and better net rating)

Both these lineups play some of the most minutes together in the NBA during those stretches. You could get into even smaller sample sizes if you want but I still think those look good, especially for the starting lineup.
 
Sorry, I’m with homie. This is ludicrous that guys in peak shape become worn down by playing 33 minutes a night. Which isn’t every night mind you.

And fwiw, not one guy on our team is in the top 20 in the league for minutes played.
 
The starting line-up with Crowder instead of Favors is +103 - which is easily the best 5 man unit for The Jazz.

The second best is the starting line up with a +56.

That's what the numbers say. My eyes say The Jazz lost the game in San Antonio and against Boston because they finished with Crowder, who is a below average rebounder instead of Favors .

The five man unit with Crowder works if Rudy is playing all world defense and grabbing every rebound under the sun. That's an unfair ask at the end of games when he's played +35 minutes.

In addition to being a superior rebounder, Favors far and away leads The Jazz in easy buckets this year and is their best pick and roll scorer. You can't put those options in your pocket the last few minutes of a close game .

I agree with you but I think that maybe they know that favors won’t be back next year and know that it’s a priority to get the gobert/crowder lineup at its peak and that’s why they are finishing that way. Playing the long game rather than the short game.

Just a thought but I actually don’t think they should be thinking that way and don’t actually think they are. Go for it right now. Never know what can happen in the playoffs. Get hot for a few games in a series or have your opponent get cold, a key injury here or there..... anything could happen.

That's been a tiny beef of mine as well.

I also think Epke, Jerebko, and Burks could get more spot minutes (especially Burks over O'neael's dumb assery), but that's a minor alteration. QS is playing for a playoff birth, and rules dictate that you cannot simply substitute at will. Only so many are allowed and the other team has the option to respond. Put in Udoh for Gobert and they might go small as the screen dive is nowhere near as potent, or the rim protection.
