funny thing is, he didn't even really play PG in the traditional sense, so all the radio talk and twittergasms about how burks at PG "worked" is a little silly. basically he brought the ball up across midcourt and then passed to the wing and let foye/hayward initiate. not exactly steve nash type stuff there.
in other words, it didn't work because burks has PG skills, it worked because the plays we were running at that point didn't really require us to have someone with pure PG skills out there.
I agree, it worked because Hayward was great last night. It also worked because Burks was more of a threat than the others that played PG last night for the Jazz.
