BYU is no longer able to line up 24 year old offensive lineman and dominate the pass blocking game. Not only that, the defensive game has evolved to the point where they are able to keep up with offenses better.

speaking of USC, I just heard on the radio that Reggie Bush has been stripped of his Heisman
BYU will be fine. They have the network to thrive on their own like Notre Dame.
I think in the end this move is going to be a huge success for BYU. They can schedule better teams, and improve their standing in the national spotlight.
They will either end up in a better confrence, or enjoy the success from being under the lame MWC. They were being held down more than anything by them.
