Utah has won the MWC 4 times. That averages out to almost every other year. And if Utah was in the PAC this year, they would absolutely be one of the favorites to win it. Don't wory, they will be favorites next year too.

Funny how you say this knowing full well that Utah has more conference championships than BYU. Would you say this if BYU got into the Big 12? Even though that all time conference championships stat is worthless, I think it's a no brainer that Utah would be far more likely to win the PAC in the next couple years than BYU would be to win the Big 12.

Are you serious? They barely eek'd by a HORRIBLE Pitt team at home. If they're in the top three at the end of the year, I'll be shocked. Let's not talk about next year until next year, shall we?

Pitt is horrible now? LOL, remember, they were ranked #15 coming into that game and are still the favorites to win the Big East. Not only that, but Utah played about as bad as you can expect them to play (unforced fumble, dropped punt, blocked punt, QB injured) and still won the game (dominating the stat sheet).

I bet Pitt finishes ranked higher than Washington, and probably higher than BYU too.
 
The blind-*** BYU homerism in this thread is astounding. I'm ashamed that we share an NBA team. You've got CONAN who wouldn't know how to read a ****ing football play as it develops without being filled with pride and nostalgia, and thus fully removing his reason from the process. Then you've got boy wonder Trout who hates Ute fans simply because they are Ute fans. I think the majority of Ute supporters hate BYU fans NOT because they support their team, but for HOW they are fans. You two are key examples. Total fail.

It is UNBELIEVABLE to me that there are people arguing about who had the better summer and who has better prospects in the future. The Utes were the big winner here, and they've been a better program now for long enough that the past if completely irrelevant. Keep constructing your little stories if you want to... the Ute fans will just laugh as you get smaller in the rearview. Oh, and 1984 is a novel written by George Orwell. Nothing else about that smacks of relevance.

The "little brother" references are also a source of confusion to me. How is the U of U the little brother here? Because BYU had some good years 20-30 years ago? Seriously? The selective memory in ya'll is mind blowing.

(I also love how many references their have been to Notre Dame and their "success." Yeah, they're real role models over there. Go for it.)

BYU barely eek'd by a worse Washington team. Utah dominated Pitt but for 1st game jitters and mistakes without them that's a 3 TD win.
 
After all the whining, crying, and dissembling here I'm thinking Little Sister might be the better moniker.
