Lowe calls Jazz contenders but...

They don't have a starting-caliber point guard to run the offense though. That's something they'll need to address with their roster. It was apparent in their pre-season game against Houston. Patrick Beverly and Landry Shamet are guys who normally play off the ball next to another lead guard. They're both limited playmakers.

The Clips will play through Kawhi and PG on offense, and they'll rely on those two to create shots, but it's likely to result in a lot of isos and mid-range shots. Doc is also a pretty pedestrian coach and probably won't come up with a solution. Their best playmaking guard right now is probably Terance Mann.

Zubac is okay, but he's their only real big. Harrell is a backup. Kabengele isn't ready yet.

They obviously have some really nice pieces, but their lack of a floor general in the backcourt is going to hold back their offense. When Doc has been successful in the past, he's had a guard like Rondo, CP3 or even SGA to run the team.

I get what you're saying bro, and i hope im wrong. But the clippers Matchup vs the jazz is rough for us

I think they might be as good as last year's Raptors. I don't think they're head and shoulders above everyone else. When Doc has won in the past, he's had a solid PG who can run plays. In 4th quarters, that's hugely important. That's why I don't think they're better than the Rockets.

Kawhi and PG13 isolations on a spread floor are scary to defend. Both can draw double-teams and pass to cutters or shooters. Kawhi might run some 4/5 pick and roll. But I think that's about as sophisticated as Doc's offense is going to get.

Royce, Joe, Bogey, Dante....and I'm optimistic about Oni.

We won’t be playing Oni the last six minutes of the game. That’s my concern. Who can we finish with?

My hope is Bogey is a gamer which I think he is.

I think they're going to play Bogey at the 4 like they did with Joe Johnson a couple years back, and then use their wing depth to guard 3s. Ingles or Royce will guard the other forward, unless we need someone bigger (like to guard Anthony Davis), in which case they may try Jeff Green.
