In a pure fit-for-the-team scenario, I might prefer Marvin slightly, but Deng is very close. I worry that Dudley doesn't rebound well enough for what the Jazz want, but man, that TS%; and I'm a bit more optimistic on Solomon Hill's shot than most and like the other things he brings, but I'll probably be thrilled with any of them.
So right now Deng is getting a lot of interest (Celtics, Minny, LAC, Wizards, Jazz that I have read). I understand that situations are always fluid. Have you heard any new info? Are you still confident in your "prediction"?

I just don't want the Jazz to overpay for anyone. Whoever they get, I want people to look back and think "How'd they get him that cheap? That was a helluva deal."
Like Burks and Favors? Even Haywards contract looks like a steal right now.

Agree 100%. Still wish they'd given Hayward the 5 year max. Two extra years under $20 million would have been a blessing at this point.
I haven't heard anything differently. But I also haven't heard anything since a few days ago.

With all the crazy money being thrown around, I wonder at what point guys like Ante Tomic, Jan Vesely and Milos Teodosic start looking like bargains?
The more I look at things, the more I expect the Jazz to just keep Shelvin Mack, Raul Neto and Tibor Pleiss. And maybe they actually will get something for Trey Burke.
