Luol Deng ends up in Utah (Rumour)

Jazz get 2 of the top ~8 SFs in the league. I assume Hayward slides to the 2 and creates a beast uber-long lineup:

Hill/ Hayward/ Deng/ Favors/ Gobert
6-9/ 6-8/ 7-0.5/ 7-4/ 7-8.5

With a nice second team that can score:
Exum/ Hood/ Burks/ Lyles/ new stretch big

Kinda liking it. Only concern is cap space out a few years. And Deng is past prime but should have a few good years left in the tank.

I don't think anyone's mentioned it either but I'd really like the Deng signing for the additional reason that he, Hill, a package of both and/or with others, could be flipped into a 1st rounder next year from some team looking to solidify their bench for a title run. Obviously, I'm hoping we're looking like the 4th-6th seed, around 48-52 wins, are hitting our stride, and keep them. But if Exum is so damn good that he has to start, and Lyles defense has improved so much so that he really should be playing 25-30 minutes a night, then flipping one or both of them to get a 1st rounder in next year's killer draft could be a huge surprise and long-term move for us.

Same age as Hill doe

Really? He looks 40. Don't those bball players from Africa lie about their age a lot?

Deng is Sudanese and played for Thibs...whatever his listed age is add 10 years

Deng plays very good defense, is a 6'9 SF, shot 42% from three last season and 48% FG%. Sounds good to me.

Store fronts that look great but there are there are some shady dealings going on out back. (waiting for my Danny Ferry banishment)
