Lolz. Alright.
Seriously though, it was taught at every single basketball camp I ever went to.
Lolz. Alright.
Lyles seems like a guy the Spurs would have taken if they were in our position.
He can be our Diaw!
So who's our Duncan, Parker, Ginobli, Leonard, Green, Patti Mills, and of course, Red Rocket?
The only pick this forum generally liked was Trey Burke. Granted, they used to ban these asshats pretty fast, so...
Still somewhat of a mystery because the ex-Kentucky forward had to contort his game to fit the role UK needed him to play last season. The Wildcats had a glut of frontcourt talent, so Lyles became a 6-foot-10 small forward in a two-post offense. While he isn't a liability defending the perimeter, his more natural position in the NBA is probably power forward. The skilled, versatile rookie should add to the strength of an already formidable Utah frontcourt. Marc J. Spears' grade: A+.
I was actually excited about the Hood pick. He dropped and they got a bargain. There was no value in Lyles at #12. He shot 14 Freakin' % from the college three. Jazz said they needed shooting. Trey CAN'T shoot.I remember Hood being mixed feelings (which was shocking to me especially with how he fell) there was just as many posts about his poor defense as there was being excited for him.
