Magic Number to Cliinch Playoff Spot

Currently it's 4, meaning any combination of Jazz wins and Lakers losses totaling 4 would get the Jazz in the playoffs over the Lakers. The magic number for the Jazz to clinch a spot higher than the Mavs is just 2.

Does that mean that this guy will play a big part in getting the Jazz back to the playoffs?

I feel like a bit of a bandwagon fan. I'm getting a little excited for the playoffs.
 
New hope: The Warriors lose out and miss the playoffs, getting us the 7 seed and a lottery pick. The best of both worlds there my friends.

We will see if that has a chance tonight. The Warriors play the Wolves in Oakland. Should be interesting considering the Warriors should be a bit fatigued from playing last night.

After tonight they have 4 very losable games.

.....so all of us are now subject to watching the next breed of hip hop, jailhouse tatted, knot-heads....instead of watching the same thing already in the league???

No kidding I can't believe alot of people on this board would rather have another 14 pick only to see him ride the bench for 1-2 season until Portland signs Burks/Kanter and then you finally get to see him play.

I could care less about the late lottery pick, I was more excited to see Corbin get the axe if we missed the playoffs. If the Jazz make the playoffs, Corbin probably gets a 5 year extension in the offseason. I just threw up in my mouth after typing that out...

You've had a little too much hatorade if you think Ty gets a big extension this off-season. You're delusional if you think he'd get fired with his option already being picked up.

You're right...it is delusional to think that Jazz management would have the cajones to fire Corbin for missing the playoffs and showing no improvement in nearly 3 seasons as a head coach. It was just wishful thinking on my part.
