You've had a little too much hatorade if you think Ty gets a big extension this off-season. You're delusional if you think he'd get fired with his option already being picked up.

The way this team's FO thinks, it is possible they would extend him out of the blue. They signed Corbin to a three year deal before he even ever coached a game. Then at the beginning of this season they picked up his option for next year. Most teams would wait until the end of the season to decide whether to pick up the option or not. This team does not approach coaching tenure like any other team.

The Jazz might need to win out now. Doable as long as the Clippers beat Memphis on Sunday - it'll lock Memphis up in 5th w/o homecourt and give them no reason to try against us in the season finale.

They may get it. Lillard with 25 and 7 in 2 quarters and the Blazers are up 9 at the half. There is no defense being played by ether team in this one.

It is a sad situation, when the Jazz made a bunch of off-season moves, got a year more of maturity from their young guys, made no moves at the trade deadline, and are scraping by to finish in the same situation--8th spot--as last season (or may possibly do worse and miss the playoffs). Sad season, even if they make it in.

Make your own Meh thread. This one is magic, because it really will be magic for the Jazz to make the playoffs now. Speaking of which, "Clinch" still has the extra i. My request was pretty much ignored.

It's really sad. All of our FA signings were backups to the Clippers, and they got put in our starting lineup. Frustrating to see our youth not get as much playing time.
Last season it was a huge surprise to see us competing for the 8th spot, given the shortened offseason and how bad our team looked. Many 'experts' predicted the Jazz would have the worst record in the west.
We took all that momentum to be in the exact same spot, or slightly worst, like you said. Oh well
