Hardy threw the team under the bus after the last game... so the likely outcome is that they play with different level of urgency. It may also be the better option, than them acting like they dont care about what the HC said.

There is still the odd chance "we shot bad, they shot great" game may happen... but other than that I wouldn't try and get the fix in on this one.
 
Hardy being so mad at guys not playing hard in a game the Jazz were intentionally throwing is so funny.

Bro, it's just human nature for 21 year olds to not play as hard in a game you're explicitly trying to lose.

The Wizards are playing better than Charlotte right now. It's more important for the standings that we lose to Charlotte, but I think it's actually more likely that we lose to Washington.

He threw them under the bus after the Pelicans game and they came out even worse vs the Pistons.

I’m starting to think that was one of the intended outcomes with the other being sincere intention of getting them to approach the game the right way. In other words, probably happy for the rockiness of the winners and losers to sorting themselves.
 
The mission is to lose every single game besides the two upcoming games against the Wolves. This might be the biggest tanking hurdle of season so far with the home game against the Wizards being the ultimate.

In the meantime, we are all huge Hawks, Spurs, Kings*, and Suns* fans.

*Wolves finishing 9th is still possible, facing the Suns might actually pose some resistance if they can get their **** together.
 
The Walker rest is definitely slimy, but I get it after the last two years.

If Silver does go crazy with punishments out of nowhere, I do think Utah is the kind of franchise to use as a "Missouri Football", so hopefully we have enough deniability, but just saying "rest" on a healthy youngin isn't the best optics

I don't think the league really cares about tanking. They care about stars sitting out during nationally broadcast games, and that's about it.
