Obviously, if he had played for us more, he would have developed and be a good player.
I do think he is the kind of player who probably needs to be in the right situation, around other good players, not as a guy getting stats on a bad team.

That being said you have to perform WAYYYYY better than he has if your given a golden opportunity like this. He's in danger of being the worst player in the league at this point.

Just an insane error on Dennis Lindsey's part. He went for a package of Udoka Azubuke and Elijah Hughes instead of taking Desmond Bane. Both those players might be out the league 2 years from now and Bane might be an All-Star two years from now.

Bane could easily be the difference between Utah winning a championship and not winning a championship. Obviously he wouldnt have developed here as quickly as he did in Memphis, but post-Ingles injury he would have had a huge surge for this Utah team. Just a shame.

Portland has such a sorry roster.

It was nice to see Forrest outplay Conley.

And I think Juancho deserves some actual minutes. This dude is intriguing. He runs the floor well and can shoot.
I am very intrigued with this player, both his demeanor and his potential. I looked up his stats and his per 36 numbers with us are quite impressive. Like 2 blocks, 19 points etc, etc. I think he’s missed one shot overall, he never looks rushed and he’s just smooth as ****. Did you see that left hand finish at the rim last night or the drive and kick to Dok for the flush? I mean we all know that his brother Willie is a huge part of that second unit down in N’awlins!

If Bane was such a can't miss prospect, why was he the last player drafted in the first round in that draft?

NAW is the cousin of SGA, who I regard as one of the most underrated PGs around.
SGA is awesome. He and Fox are my favorite NBA PGs to follow.

Sometimes these throw-in guys end up being good players. You're right - he seems to be in control and composed and he's making things happen. He needs more playing time. Willie is a beast for New Orleans. He hits the three and is a solid center.

No one that late is can’t miss… but Bane was pretty obvious as a much better prospect than Doke. He was overlooked for some of the same dumb reason guys get overlooked… a little older and short wingspan.

Jokic has some brothers… we should sign em up huh?
