Mare of Easttown on HBO

Honestly though, that’s fine. 99.7% of viewers wouldn’t know that. I happened to grow up about 50 miles from there and know ****. I think the show would’ve been a grand slam for me if the boy crushed his scene in which he recalled what happened. The ending of Secrets and Lies (Australian version) comes to mind. Similarly, a kid committed the crime in that and the end scene was much shorter but it felt more compelling and ****ed up em what I recall. This felt like the actor was upset, fake crying. I’m really upset. Except there were no actual tears...mediocre acting.

The show was really effing good though. Winslet was phenomenal. Many of the supporting characters were very, very good as well. And it was heartbreaking as it came full circle,

Yeah, this kid wasn't a great actor.

Google Maps. Easttown (it’s a real town) to Brandywine Park is 29.5 miles.
True, but also she isn't having a priest transport her 30 miles to a park, they didnt pay attention to details but it was implied this was a local city park. Either way I was right about the murder durder.

Yeah, good call. My buddy called it too maybe two weeks ago and I was like that’s ****ing dumb...because of what I said to you.

By the way, what adult, let alone a priest, leaves a distraught teen at that park at midnight?

So im currently watching this show. Very very good. Especially the acting. Notably kate winslet but everyone is good.
Just finished episode 5 which was the best one yet. At this point I dont think the priest killed the girl so I figure its down to the uncle (i think he was her uncle. the dude she lived with for a few months or whatever) who I believe is the baby daddy, or her ex boyfriend and her best friend working together.
They just went to her house and got her journals and money for the baby ear surgery. I think they were just doing that cause they figure that she is dead so they might as well get the money. Though im not sure why they burned her journals. Maybe cause they had to touch them to get to the money and they didn't want to leave fingerprints?
Anywho, I think the uncle murdered her.

It is a really well done show. It's not really much of a whodunnit.

They didn't flesh that part out well for the last few episodes.
