Massive NBA gambling and fixing arrests

That's the problem with incorrect info. Sometime people don't read everything and still think the fake information is real. Thus people are often replying to people who seem to have not seen that the misinformation was misinformation. I don't think I'd say it's piling on.

But, yeah, the issue you initially posted is indeed a big deal.
Ya some people actually believe that every post on X is legitimate news and 100% factual.

First post was legitimately a video of press conference regarding FBI betting fraud sting. Then posted a single X post alleging Russell was involved. Then like a dozen posts after that about how it's fake. Ok, that post on X was fake. You guys need to get a grip, the first one who posted it was fake cleared it up. Everyone feel good for piling on? Does it lessen the issue posed by the first post? Y'all a bunch of ****wits.
Weird thing to get all defensive about tbh

Anyone else pretty sure this is politically motivated? The blackest, most liberal major sports league in the US is suddenly under the gun (of a brazenly fascist regime that they widely oppose), but no one else? Speaking of betting, you can bet people involved in sports across the board are involved in betting.

Also, Chauncey wasn’t doing anything NBA-related with his gambling? Do I have this correct?

Hell, people are betting on politics these days. There were betting lines for the last presidential election. Which was probably fixed lol.

Lately on YouTube I’ve been getting served some truly deranged AI generated ads for Kalshi, which essentially lets you bet on future events.

Two of the more annoying “innovations” of the 21st century together at last.

This is what happens when the concept of “infinite growth” starts to reach its inevitable limit. That, and pointless inflation that predictably coincides with increasing market concentration of major firms.

**** this fresh hell.
