All-Star for Utah twice 09-10 and 10-11 (before trade). And that was competing against better point guard competition -- Steve Nash, Chris Paul, Tony Parker.
This year he is competing with Rondo, Irving, and the broken Rose and Wall. He isn't even a lock to make it this year. He might not even be the most AS worthy guard on his own team.
You can nit pick all you want, but my point remains.
D-Will made the all NBA second team in 2008 (with Utah) but did not make the all star team. He's a lock to make the all star team in Brooklyn, even though he's a shadow of the player he was in Utah. If he made the all nba second team in Brooklyn, he'd be starting the all star game.
