Duncan will likely come back on a cheap contract and Manu may retire (he looks like crap when I've watched him). The only reason they haven't already maxed him is they are trying to preserve space to sign a big free agent and his cap hold is so low. Who among the crop of FAs this coming off season can we get who will make a truly significant difference but who will not cost something close to max money to get?

With an eye to the increasing salary cap, teams are going to be throwing money at FAs. We are not going to get anyone who can make a difference without paying a hefty amount for him.
