If the Jazz lose this series to a 9 seed, then they are eternal frauds until they somehow win a title.

Teams are smarter now. Also playing with a broken finger doesn't run much of a risk of get a much worse injury. It's not about playing through pain.

All the way ready sounds like he is mostly ready and could play but they don't think they need him against the grizzlies so they will sit him to be extra cautious.

Go back and watch the initial run the Grizz put up in the 2nd quarter. The Grizz know how to screw up the Jazz flow. Rudy was doing the right screens, the Jazz players weren't running there guys through him. Clarkson, Ingles and Bogey kept backing off the Rudy picks and it is working out.

I'm guessing that's the case as well. But I would rather rest him a few more days and get him completely ready instead of running the risk of set back or injury something else. I think it's definitely the smart move.

I was worried about how the grizzlies (and how other teams) will guard the Jazz's offensive schemes with playoff physicality. It's clearly bothering and disrupting the flow... especially for bogey. Better hope they man up or this is going to be a short lived playoff run.

I’m not so sure... I think maybe it was strategy so whoever we played would game plan for Don. If he was okay to go just getting him 10-15 minutes would be helpful to bring him up slowly. Miye ain’t doing much for us out there... I’m more worried about his injury... maybe he aggravated it.
