I was 12 when the Jazz last made the WCF. Boozer was my absolute favorite player. I used to wear his jersey to school multiple times a week. I had multiple so it worked fine lol.

Reading comments on here about him though he wasn’t liked as much as I would have guessed. Seems like he wasn’t that good on D and milked injuries. Shame because I don’t remember him like that lol. I obviously wasn’t old enough to really break things down and understand more like I can now.

He was a great scorer and rebounder. Dude was a walking guaranteed 20/10 guy every night.

Hard to believe that was 14 years ago when we won game 7 in Houston and ultimately got to the WCF. I always liked Booze, if we had another big to go with him and Memo we might have won a title in 2008 or shortly after. We were just to undersized against the Lakers after they got Gasol and took control of the west.

I like that we won but Memphis took the lead late and had a chance in the game. That leaves them feeling like they coulda shoulda so they won' be as desperate as they would have been with a solid beat down. The Jazz won't come into game 4 too overconfident after almost blowing game 3.

Nah, having to come back just to get put down soundly twice like that wears on you. Sometimes just losing big and hitting the reset button is a good thing. I feel like the Grizzlies know that The Jazz are just going to clown them the last 5 minutes of the game. It's the way I felt in the finals against Mike Jordan in 97 and 98.

This would have had more impact if it had come in the middle of the 22-9 Memphis run to start the 4th quarter. Hindsight and all that.
