Funny story.

Locke blasted CJ over Twitter a few weeks ago.

CJ then blasts him for nitpicking a few crappy games and analyzing those.

A few days later, Locke apologizes over Twitter and has been praising CJ ever since.

That's Locke for ya!

Why anyone trusts this joke is beyond me.

You know how long ago those tweets were? I wanna look that shizzle up.

I think they were the day before CJ came in for his workout, whenever that was.

Looks like it was around June 12th. I looked at both twitter pages. I can't find any tweets between the two of them. But I do see Locke starting to talk up Mccollum around the 13th or 14th or June.

Yeah I can't remember exactly. But this time frame seems about right.

It's hard for me to keep up with all the workouts since we had the entire draft working out every single day for 3 weeks.

I love mcw. shooting is one of the easiest things to improve. what I like most about him is his court awareness. its something you can't improve on much if any and he's got tons of it.

I'd LOVE to draft MCW @14.

Correct me if I'm wrong... But isn't it his court awareness that is being attacked here? He sucks in the half court (according to DX). He's one of the worst in the half court set when you consider his scoring, turnovers, and P&R offense.

Isn't that what DX is attacking here?

See, that's why I brought this article up. Up until now we've merely talked about his poopey shooting. If his ability to run an offense sucks... then what good is his athleticism if he cannot shoot or run an offense?

So he can dunk real good on a fast break. Yay. We have that in Jeremy Evans.

What about the other major parts of a PG? You know, running a team, controlling the tempo of a game, PASSING, maybe even SHOOTING?

I think his court awareness is superb. You can see that in the stats from the 7.3 assist and 2.8 steals and it also passes the eye test for me. I think where his problems are coming from are a loose handle and poor decision making. But, I think both of those things can be tightened up a bit in the NBA. I'm not concerned with his passing, I think that will translate very well to the NBA. If he can tighten up his handle and break a few bad habits such as making jump passes, I think his ast/to ratio will be fine.

He hasn't backed down on his criticisms. He just has a new respect for him for calling him out.
