What's new

Memphis Grizzlies @ Utah Jazz Sat. Nov. 7th @ 7pm MST

Memphis sucks on the perimeter which is where we got killed by Portland. With how Memphis is playing, this is a very winnable game.

We should measure ourselves by how we play against quality opponents and this is the first quality opponent we've played this year. If we want to make the playoffs, we need to beat teams like this at home. Quin needs to send that message and we need to come out like wild dogs.

4-2 sounds waaaaaaay better than a hokum .500 3-3.

Let's ****ing do this.

The Jazz need the home crowd to be sold out and rocking. Hopefully Favs and Gobert can log heavy minutes against Gasol and Randolph, but the bigger key will be out PGs being able to keep Conley in front of them so he doesn't collapse the defense.

The teams like Portland that shoot tough shots and make them off the dribble are bad match ups for us. Memphis has crappy perimeter guys... We should win this one.

Someone mentioned Hayward not looking right. To me it's more about confidence and rythymn. He hasn't been making that shot where he bullies the guy in the paint and fades away. He will figure it out.

I'd also like to see Alec start. He gets tunnel vision on drives occasionally, but I feel like hood actually holds the ball longer. The whole team needs to be told over and over again... Catch and shoot or move the ball. Alec hits his open shots and I think he's still finding himself. He has had good games and showed he can drive and kick and he can shoot the three. Would love to see what it looks like if it all came together.

I was really disappointed in the late arriving crowd. Place looked empty. I sometimes wish I still lived out there... I could be a season ticket holder now. But then I realize I get to golf in January and it makes everything okay.

I still think Memphis screwed themselves by not developing Jordan Adams.

Every time I watch him he looks good. I'm not sure why they keep putting past their prime vets in front of him. Is ty an assistant there.

If Hood cant stay out of foul trouble it might be better to start Alec.

Agreed. That's his go to, and best, move imo and it has not been falling.
Once he gets that going it will help allot

They still need to do better on free throws collectively. Often, it's the difference between winning and losing. Simply can not understand why this is still such a problem for the Jazz.
