Carlos Boozer earned NBA Eastern Conference player of the week honors Monday and Oklahoma City's Kevin Durant nabbed the Western Conference distinction, the league announced

Boozer led the Bulls to a 3-1 mark for games played Jan. 14-20, averaging 23 points and a league-best 14.8 rebounds. That included a season-high 20 rebounds in Friday's overtime victory over the Celtics.

Boozer also will be in the running for Eastern Conference player of the month. He has posted 11 double-doubles in his last 12 games and leads the conference with 23 double-doubles.

NOW will you idiots FINALLY admit that we should have given Boozer that max contract in 2010???????

For whatever reason it's not letting me put spaces between paragraphs...

Why does Boozer's facial hair look blacker than normal?

Sidenote- A good way to check the contrast ratio of your monitor is to look at a picture of Boozer's eyebrows.

It's to match his hair

I am glad we didn't give Boozer a max deal. I am sad that we decided to replace him with Al.

Boozer is a much better player than Al. Boozer has never proven he would be healthy enough to take us anywhere far. His missing the Phoenix game was the last straw.

The problem isn't that Boozer is gone. The problem is that Al is here.

This season he is averaging 16ppg, 2.2 ast, 10 reb and .5 blocks and .8 steals. No way in hell that is a max player.

Sorry, but Jefferson and Boozer are one in the same. At least Jefferson "plays" nearly every game. Worth more the Boozer, mo.

The problem was they kept Boozer too long, when they should have traded him as soon as they knew he wasn't in the long-term plans.

I think if Jefferson and a healthy Okur got to play with each other the way Boozer and Okur did, it would have been even better, as Jefferson could handle being guarded by centers, whereas Boozer couldn't, especially in the playoffs.
