I dont think anybody was happy with the Maynor trade, but at the end of the day Utah is a very small market team that does not have owners with unlimited funds. Therefore, this is the kind of trade that happens. Unfortunately, with the Jazz being over the LT again this year dont be surprised to see another lopsided trade or two. Hopefully like last year it will involve nonessential players though.

I remember the same was said about Jason Hart. It was a real love fest from his agent and KOC about how they had admired each other from afar, but the stars just never aligned. So let's be careful what we wish for. My fear is that Watson would complain about lack of playing time and James would jack up to many ill-advised shots.
 
Whoever neg repped me for my posts in this thread, you obviously missed that I was and am a big Maynor fan, but many were complaining about him being a chucker, poor shooter, defensive liability, etc. until he was traded...and all of a sudden he is better than Derek Fisher. I also find it funny that I was one of the few that liked the Maynor pick from the beginning, and now I seem to be one of the few that remembers that he had significant flaws.

Edit: A couple more months of shooting 39% for the Jazz and he becomes the new Hart/Knight here on Jazzfanz.

I think I joined in 2010 and think there was a lot of talk about Best Buy years before when I would just read the board long before I joined.
 
I recalled being just a bright eyed 25 year old damn damn. I’m pretty sure Best Buy dates back to prehistoric Jazzfanz stays lol
