Miles' supporters: Suck it

Cj is a very emotional player. He picks up on other players and crowds emotion. CJ shines when he is home and we start a run he keeps it going. He needs to learn to play more even keel. But 7 years in this is probably not going to change. He just needs to be pulled when he gets down and played less on the road. Likewise when the crowd is in it and we are playing well keep him in and let him go.

Name me another situation that a coach has only played a regular rotation player at home (or on the road) due to a disparity between home and road games?

I get your point but this is a bad arguement to support it.

Meh, he is a backup wing. I think he could be a backup wing on a lot of teams. He will get a contract after this one expires and Im sure he will have multiple offers.

The main problem I have isn't with Miles himself, but rather Corbin giving him so much playing time while he struggles. Any other coach sits that guy and gives someone else a chance. You've got to give your team the best chance to win. He isn't worth much of anything on the defensive end. If you combine that with his inconsistencies on offense his minutes shouldn't be much more than 12-15 per game.. and even that number of minutes scares me.

The main problem is Ty is in over his head ... at a time the Jazz have the best opportunity to build a contending team over the next few years. THAT is a problem.

Yeah, I said it would be awesome if we did it. I just said it was unheard of strategy, BECAUSE, AS YOU CAN TELL, NO ONE HAS HEARD ANOTHER CASE IN WHICH IT HAPPENED.

It would be a "Moneyball" esque strategy.

Give miles so more time. He is still young..

He is only 24 guys. Jason kidd couldnt shoot til a couple years ago. Now look at him. He is winning championships.

I say we hang in there with him. He is like our youngest son. He is a part of our family. He has been on this team since puberty.

Are you saying we should fire ty after only barely a year on the job, if that? You are too hard on him. And you are not a true Jazz fan.

In the name of Jesus Christ

Amen

Your attempts at humor are plagued with annoyance.

It's not a matter of home and away; it's a matter of sucking and not. If he sucks (home or away), play someone else. If it turns out that he is ok every tenth road game then play him. Corbin shouldn't mindlessly make substitutions. And it happens all the time with good coaches. They play those players that are doing well at the time.

I don't expect.. ahem, Mormons to support anyone other than that idiot Romney. Go ahead and vote our country into more debt. All that man cares about is $$$

I'm not Mormon.
I won't be voting for Romney.
Romney cares about more than money, for this country.

Tennessee sucks.

Proof? Link? I was born and raised in Salt Lake City. Trust me, Utah is no better than Tennessee in any department.

*EDIT* Ohhhh, you're a Kentucky fan. That explains the hatred.

Ha! Yep, glad that didn't need to be explained.

Substitute "Jews" for "Mormons" and see how it sounds. My wife is Mormon, and she doesn't like Romney, but religious profiling is as dangerous a thing as there is. I know it was not meant to insult people, but I don't think its productive to construct a mind for anyone. No more heaviness, sorry everyone.

A good example is today. Miles played ****TY 1st half. By your logic Miles should have been shutdown. Then he came back and played a pretty good 2nd half, and was a huge part of the comeback. He made an unfortunate mistake by throwing the ball away, but it was far from the play that lost us the game.

It was just an obvious statement. It was the same idea behind Obama. I'm willing to bet the majority of African-Americans voted for him. It's not unusual to suspect Mormons voting for another fellow Mormon. No?
