Millsap > Boozer

I don't think most people realise how tough Millsap has been. Clearly he has been banged up throughout the season. Yet people choose to slaughter him on his un-Boozerlike stats. Look at how many games Boozer has missed already with his new team.

Millsap is the epitome of toughness and I'd pick him any day over Boozer. True, he cannot match Boozer's day to day stats. But if you divide their total stats (points rebounds whatever) by the number of team games, regardless of how many individual games they actually play, you'd see why Millsap is better man.

For example as of today Jazz have played 49 games (don't care how many games he actually played in)
Millsap has a total points and rebounds of 809 and 373 respectively
So divided by 49 that's 16.5ppg and 7.6rpg

Bulls have played in 47 games. I don't know how many games Boozer has missed but his totals are 577 and 297 for points and rebounds.
So his REAL ppg is 12.3 and rpg is 6.3.

At the end of the season divide the totals by 82 and you'll see it clearer.

Anyway, no stats can account for the grit that Sap has. But this shows the real impact the player has over the season.

My point is what's the point of averaging 20-10 when you only play half the time? Hope nba starts to recognise players based on per team game value rather than per personal game value.

If Boozer was suffering from the problems Millsap is facing, he'd have retired from this season. Sorry Boozer fans.

You really want to get Sloanfeld and Salty Dawg going on this again. Drop it. We have Millsap and Loozers gone - end of story.

The beauty of twisting stats to your needs and beliefs.

Fits the model that says that 57.8% of all stats are made up on the spot.
