Millsap for Bledsoe?

Seems pretty obvious to me what's happening.

1. Clippers would prefer Garnett over Millsap, but would likely do either for Bledsoe.
2. Boston wasn't taking trade seriously - Clippers leaked trade to put pressure on Clippers while also getting Jazz fans excited to attempt to temper any deal with Spurs for Jefferson.
3. Garnett states that he'll only opt-out of clause if Pierce is gone as well. (This seemingly confirmed by Stein at ESPN in latest column.)
4. Boston begins exploring Pierce for Josh Smith talks.

So for us to get Bledsoe:
A. Smith for Pierce talks would need to break down, or Hawks would have to have a better offer.
B. Thus causing Garnett to not opt-out.
C. Clippers would have to be happy with the addition pieces being proposed in the deal with the Jazz.
D. KOC and Lindsey would have to like the offer better than what the Spurs are putting forward.

And interestingly enough, I'm pretty sure that whatever offer the Spurs have made to the Jazz, they've also made to the Hawks for Smith. So this really is a fight between Boston and Utah at this point, over who can get the deal done - Spurs and Clippers look to win out either way.

Do it then. Just trying to shed some perspective. Where are the indications that this trade is anywhere close to imminent? There are none. Carry on.

Its not just this trade its any trade. We better make a half way decent trade. Millsap or Jefferson has to go, we can get something for them that is better than letting them walk. We could make some other trades to make this team better as well but I at least hope we clear up playing time for Kanter and Favors.

There are still reasons to haggle with Boston, you knobs.

Garnett waves the clause (or not), he doesn't put the deal together.

For whatever this is worth, I'd rather ride out the season with Favors and Kanter being practically buried and Jefferson not being back than one or both being traded and Jefferson being back.

Fans outside Clippers overrate DeAndre by far. Fans inside LA want him gone for a guy who can do something other than catch perfect lobs. He doesn't rebound. He's not half the player Garnett is even in his old age. & I can't stand Garnett.

Garnett is waffling hard on his "I bleed green" bull **** anyway. Dude wants another shot. DeAndre and Bledsoe for Garnett, one of their recent draft potentials, and a pick should be plenty. That will give them legitimacy and they should get taken by any team overvaluing No Boards Jordan on a **** contract.

When I look at the Clippers backup big men situation, I kind of feel like this trade is going to happen.

They only play Jordan for 25 mpg, then there backups are Lamar Odom (sucking a big fat one this season), Ryan Hollins (scrub), and Ronny Turiaf (scrub).

Sorry, I meant that as a joke. Just frustrated with the lack of action from the front office that's all. I covet Bledsoe and have for about a year which makes this rumor all the more painful for me.
