Millsap had similar runs like this last year. He is great at getting himself in a zone where he seemingly can't miss anything. It seems like this year he had a couple of more moves, but not any dramatic improvements like last year.

I agree; he's had great runs before and then faded. He started off hot last season (was in the 20-10 range with a high FG%) and then went into a slump and played himself out of the all-star game. Maybe the dramatic improvement will be to keep it going for longer. Millsap will be a long-shot to make the all-star team, though; there are a lot of great PF's in the western conference. He just won't have the eye-popping stats of others: 17-8 is very good, but can you honestly say Paul is better or more deserving than Griffin, Love and Aldridge?

Yeah, if he can keep it up consistently I will consider that a dramatic improvement for sure.

I'm with CT and glass on this. We have seen sap dominate, then fade pretty much every year after his rookie season. He needs to show he can sustain it over the long haul.

Definitely shame on Nate lol.
I was never down for Milsap getting traded.
When people would mention trades, I would say Big Al should be the first on the block.
Hell.... now Big Al making me eat my words as well.

He definitely has to prove he can last the entire season. I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt for the time being though. Corbin just started featuring him in the offense a few games ago and results show. He's gone for 19, 29, 18, 26, and 20 the last five games. No doubt he's not going to keep a 22.4 ppg average up but he has a much better shot at doing so with plays called for him every game. In the past he's been a garbage guy with a few option passes his way.

Let's see how he plays with this new role (that I'm loving) before throwing the fade out slogan onto his back again.
