Millsap undergoing tests on Wrist

Paul Millsap is undergoing tests on his right wrist and won't practice on Thursday.
This is the first we've heard of a wrist concern for Millsap, and owners need to pay careful attention to this situation. He played 40.5 minutes against the Rockets on Wednesday with 21 points, seven rebounds, three steals and a block, but injured his wrist during the game. Utah's next game is on Friday, so Millsap's status will certainly be updated before that time. Derrick Favors would likely draw a start if Millsap is forced to miss any time.

Is it possible that he sits out vs. the Hornets? I didn't notice when he hurt it so this was a suprise to hear.

i said it numerous time, corbin should take a page out of pops book.

there was no need to play sap and jefferson 30+ minutes.
heck with jefferson out kanter and fvaors have shown that the jazz can win with them manning the frontcourt.
so 30+ minutes was a bad idea.

Milsap and trainer Gary Briggs are at the hospital/Doctors office (?) in Houston while the team is trying to practice with only 9 players.

i would love it if we played as well tomorrow as we did early... because against NOH that type of effort will result in a 20-point lead and then paul can relax with his wrist in a bucket full of ice.

Yes, because I'm sure Popovich never played his star players for 40 minutes when they were 26 years old. Oh wait.

Brian T. Smith:
Paul Millsap (sprained right wrist) day to day. Jeremy Evans (sprained right ankle) doubtful at New Orleans, Memphis

Brian T. Smith:
Without Millsap, Jazz would only have nine active players Friday at Hornets. Utah's roster is at 15, so Jazz can't add anyone.

Jonathan Rinehart:
Paul Millsap has a sprained right wrist and is day-to-day. Jeremy Evans (sprained right ankle) is doubtful for NO and MEM games

If Millsap is out than Kanter better be ready to step up. He will probably be playing a good amount of minutes as the only real sub for the 4 and 5.
