Below are the players I like personally.

Arinze Onuaku - Was never drafted but played in the D-League last few seasons. Has a 7"7 wingspan according to nbadraft.net
Only played 23 minutes per game in the D-League but averaged 9 rebounds per game in that span. Not that athletic though. Decent post game.

Xavier Gibson - I am blown away that this guy didn't get much playing time at Florida State. He seems to have pretty good fundamentals. Decent post game has an outside shot. Decent shot blocker. 7"3 wingspan. There must be a major flaw in his game. Anyone know what it is?
I see him listed as 260 but on the deseret news site it says 229. Not sure who is wrong here.

JaMychal Green - Looks like he has a decent outside shot. He is close to 240 now but might be too slim to play the PF position. Good rebounder and has a good outside shot. He is only 6'9 but has over a 7'2 wingspan.

Jorge Gutierrez - If a PG cannot shoot well from 3 I am usually not a fan but this guy I like a lot because he plays so tough. Very crafty. He is a good rebounder for the PG position and is a pretty good playmaker. Good at dishing off in traffic which is great for big guys he plays with.

D.J. Kennedy - Above average athlete but not great. Seems to shoot decent from the 3 (36%) not great but not horrible. Great all-around player. Can play defense rebound, steals, and even a good playmaker. Looks like a solid player. Like a less athletic Iggy.

Henry Sims - Seems like a solid big man who can play PF or C. Shot blocker with 7-4 wingspan. Needs to improve consistency as a rebounder though. Seemed to improve his points per game in the D-League though.

Jermaine Taylor - Very Athletic with a good outside shot. Not very good with the ball in his hands though and has a hard time going left. Needs to become a more consistent man to man defender.

Who do you like coming into the Mini-camp that could eventually be apart of the rotation or even just make the team?
 
Probably half of those guys will have contracts in Europe before summer league starts. Its hard to keep them with only a promise of a chance to fight for an ungauranteed contract.
 
There are a few of these players I wouldn't mind seeing on the summer league roster to see if they pan out, and 3 of them played in the dleague last season so they aren't going to Europe too quickly...

Drew Gordon pretty good rebounder and hustle plays on the offensive end to make buckets. A good 4th big and maybe 3rd big to get experience if we are in tank mode. Maybe a Carl Landry type. 6'10" 235 lbs 6'11" wingspan he isn't trex arms either.

D.J. Kennedy handles the ball pretty good, passes willingly, has a nice shot, and plays decent defense. A very lite James Harden. 6'6" 210 lbs.

Marquez Haynes is a decent facilitator/ball handler, a very good shooter, and can stay in front of his man on defense and play some good defense in the process. I think a good pick up for one of the back up point positions or 2 guard that can handle the ball ala Gary Neal. 6'3" 190 lbs with a 6'6" wingspan.

Chris Wright can jump out of the gym but he also plays good defense and can get to the basket with ease in the dleague. Another very good skill he has is shot blocking. Chris has a terrific build for a 2/3 and a slasher, at 6'8" 220 lbs and a 6'9" wingspan.

These are the 4 guys I would bring in for another look against NBA talent at the summer league and go from there.

Exactly just like Gary Neal before he joined the spurs.

Maybe you remember if you watched any Mountain West bball a couple years ago on New Mexico's team they had a pretty good big man in Drew Gordon I remember watching him and his hustle and I thought, oh he will make a good rotational big man in the NBA because he rebounds the hell out of the ball and his hustle plays on both ends of the floor.

But the other 3 I haven't heard too much about the only other two I remember in college were Chris Wright and D.J. Kennedy, but Haynes I never heard of but he reminds me of a Gary Neal player a lot.

Xavier Gibson is not a scorer.. but more importantly is generally thought of as lazy. Requires a lot of management and is not a self-starter.

The not much of a scorer isn't the end of the world.. but he's another kid falling in love with trying to be a SF .. and he's not. maddening to watch him launch 3's and rarely make one.

Biggest thing is lack of work ethic.

Typical flaw. All the talent in the world to become a legit rotation player but is lazy. He will probably make around 200,000 a year to play overseas. If he wasn't lazy I bet he could become a regular rotation player and make 3-5 million a year. Crazy that some of these guys don't even have the money to motivate them.

Money won't cure a lack of ambition.
