The way things are shaking out right now, Minnesota is likely to end up the 6th seed. If the Jazz were somehow able to beat them to end the season, that would likely push Minnesota down to the 8 seed.

Our two Portland wins are ruining the tank.
I'm pretty sure if the Jazz beat Minnesota the Wolves will be in the play in (either 7th or 8th depending on MEM) and if the Jazz lose then Minnesota will not be in the play in (either 4,5, or 6 depending on the other teams).

Best case scenario would be for the Jazz to win, pushing Minnesota into the playoffs in and having something ******* crazy happen that knocks them out of the playoffs. But this scenario is only worth seeing play of if they stay in the top 2 picks.
I will say, it would be very satisfying on a personal level to see the Jazz just come out in the last game and be like “Eff it.” Take the handcuffs and training wheels off and just blast Minnesota, screwing up all their plans and seeding some doubt into them going into the playoffs.

Warriors / Clippers just went into overtime. Does it matter who wins based on how everything else has shaken out already?
Yes, if GSW win then the MIN pick is in a 3 way tie for 20-22. If LAC wins then the MIN pick is 21.
It matters, but from those options, it's hard to tell what to root for.
If you are an optimist you want GSW to win. If you are a pessimist then you want LAC to win.
