Utah needs a legitimate threat or two who can create at the 1, 2, or 4 beyond Mitchell. I'm okay with Jingles/Royce running the three. That said, we've treaded water for a few years. Utah needs to make some decisions this offseason and keeping the team as it is. We need a PG or SG if we're moving DM to point.

That said, saying Mitchell isn't this team's Batman is an incorrect statement.

Mitchell is only in year 2. Very few if any players become A-list superstars on playoff-caliber teams in their second year. Lebron and Wade are probably the only ones.

Get him a legit star point guard who can get him the ball in the right spots and he could be very very good. Would max him out. Be like Portland. Imagine Portland with Gobert. Jazz need build for future. They are not contenders at this moment. Maybe in couple years If They make the right moves.

Melo had nuggets in playoffs first year. Tatum played very well last year as a rookie in playoffs. That's just one current and one oldie. I could do research and find more if ibwanted. Mitchell bad shooting percentage shows he is a 2guard and not a point guard. He can iso any time but shouldn't be doing it all the time
