I WANT a leader to seek information and have a willingness to change their minds based on new info or circumstances. Agreed.

I don't have a problem with politicians changing their minds.
But at the same time, it's all telling of their personality and/or mental stability needed in order to hold the position of commander and chief.

In fact I myself considered myself to be a Democrat in the first 19 years of my life.
My position was, "Free money for all, free healthcare for all, and the Dems get things done, so I like them".
I was also completely hypnotized by the mainstream media at that point as well.

I do believe that Romney and Obama both say everything and anything to get elected, and will/already have pulled a 180 when they get into office.

I agree with this. plus, Bill Vaughan said, "We learn something every day, and lots of times it’s that what we learned the day before was wrong." i would rather the leaders of our contry admitted they are wrong when they are, change their views and continue progressing this country forward. rather then contniue in a stuborn path and waste 4 years of thier time and ours.
 
I cast my vote & then support the incumbents 100% so they can focus on doing the job we elected them to do instead of campaigning to their dumb *** constituents 24/7. Everyone hates the constant campaigning & money involvement yet they won't support elected representatives to do what elected representatives are supposed to do--make the wise decisions we're not capable of doing on our own.

Support your incumbent in 2012 (minus Hatch, of course).
