More Bolomboy, less Diaw

I think it's fair to ask; Did Lindsey get completely ripped off on the Diaw trade?

The start of this season for Diaw feels like a reunion tour, and the Jazz have picked up the tab and used a roster spot for the entire trip..


One thing we can say conclusively about Lindsey is he sure helps other teams clear $$$ of their books...
 
I think bolomboy isn't ready but he can't be WORSE than diaw....diaw is literally a traffic cone
 
Bolomboy needs to play. He's an energy guy who the balls seems to gravitate to. Plus he's shown he can score and runs the floor well. Diaw needs to ride the bench like he's Raja Bell or Trey Burke.

I like Lyles in the starting-5 because he plays well when he starts.

Diaw's getting 22 minutes a game and is shooting 24% from the field with 3X as many turnovers as assists (and he's supposed to be a great playmaker). And 1.8 rebounds a game when he plays more than 22 minutes a game makes Lyles look like Dennis Rodman in comparison....
 
I think I said I like the trade if we get motivated diaw... I think we got fat diaw. I couldnt watch the whole game last night but diaw is not making shots... not rebounding... getting smoked on defense. Basically we need to play anyone but him... he's giving us absolutely nothing.

Pop is a wizard! How did he make this guy look like an NBA player.

Would have made more sense last year but I agree the lyles diaw combo off the bench would have had to be amazing offensively to compensate for lack of rebounding and defense. Snyder must love diaw though... he gets so much time when other guys seem to have a short leash.

I think he really likes the idea of Diaw and is hoping he starts to gel with the team/starts hitting his open shots.
 
Pleiss with a monster game in Euroleague today. Not saying his dumpage was not the right call, but he showed some of the potential that led the Jazz to sign him.
