More Chad Ford Speculation: #5 and Favors for #2 and Sanders

I actually really love Sanders as a player. The last year we had Jefferson I remember thinking that Sanders was the only guy we played against that was able to shut down Jefferson. I mean that's really hard to do the way he takes a ton of hard shots moving away from the defender. But, Sanders stuck to him like glue and his length bothered Jefferson.

It's true his head isn't on quite right, but, I could live with it.

I do that deal.
 
You don't bring in Spurs culture then bring in a guy like Sanders. Who is selfish and undisciplined. He is not what DL and Quin are looking for. And I am not talking about the weed. That doesn't matter. Its his selfish undisciplined play. DL and Snyder want nothing to do with him.
They like Favors a lot. And Favors has a lot more potential right now offensively and defensively. Sanders Will always be a 10 and 10 guy with a few blocks.
Favors has potential to be much more. And favors is unselfish.
You can dream all you want about getting into the top 3 but its not going to happen with trading Favors.
 
A head case who was arrested for a bar fight in which he tore a ligament in his thumb and was also seen throwing bottles into a crowd. A guy who fights with his teammates and who's productivity has gone down drastically since he signed that big contract...

Why would playing in Utah change Sanders' behavior or productivity? I'm sorry but this guy is toxic.

So, um, when are people going to realize that this isn't about Sanders? Who gives a flying bag of dicks about what Sanders does on/off the court. If he's a cancer, we ship his *** out, easy as that. This is about moving up and getting a future star, while unloading one of the most overrated players to ever put a Jazz uniform on (Chucker J. Smiles takes that prize, natch).

But.....like.....Stephen Jackson.....
 
Exum fits in the Bucks lineup, more than Wiggins or Embiid. If he falls to 5, this trade has potential although trading Favors for Sanders wouldnt be enough to get Wiggins for Exum.

But yeah, do this deal even with throwing in next year's 1st. Top 10 protected.

So your trading Favors away for Sanders who we all realize who sucks and the 5th pick in the draft for the chance at players who are NOT for sure stars.
When are people going to realize Wiggins and Parker are NOT for sure STARS. They are good players but highly overrated. Nobody in this draft is a FOR SURE franchise changer.
They have major holes in their game. They are not NBA ready. I like both of them. Don't get me wrong. But its BS to say these guys are for sure stars or franchise changers.
Most guys who come into the league have more complete games. The drafts have just sucked so bad for years that everyone is over hyping this one.
Favors & 5th pick >>>>> Wiggins/Parker & Sanders
 
I wish we had just been a little worse this year... we have to sacrifice favors to move up a few spots... and its still not enough. I would do the deal, but I would be pissed about it.

So you're totally fine to keep Favors, who has had three years to learn, grow, assert himself, and start dominating, but hasn't. You're fine with the fact that Favors is looking more and more like a C.J. Miles type of player than an all star. You're totally cool with mediocrity.

Well then, I guess you told me. Status Quo > Gambling On Future

Draft a player who sucks. Dont sell out. Don't let the world tell us who we should draft.
