The article above is full of speculation and a number of things that could never be backed up. Not sure what people think is thoughtful about it. This is my choice for best yet.

This article brings up the key point that differentiates between the Stockton & Malone and boozer adn Williams (potentially) which is that Stock, Malone and Jerry were on the same page about winning and the plans to do so. I don't doubt Williams desired to win (I do doubt Boozer's.) Let's see if Williams becomes "unleashed..."

B.S. Leaving mid-season is not a grown-up maneuver. Teaching by example is most effective.

Sloan taught by example for 23 years. Hard to fault him for deciding it's not worth his time anymore trying to coach a bunch of overpayed, egotistical punks.

It's not at all hard, if you try. Sometimes, coaching style needs to adjust to talent. Unwillingness to budge is not good leadership.
