More Gobert Love = Top Rim Protector...as if we didn't know this

I may be a homer, but I take Gobert. Both are still projects with tremendous upside, but Gobert's floor raises from week to week, While Giannis is still in the "flashes of brilliance" stage. Giannis may end up a star, but Rudy is approaching a sure thing. There is a good chance Rudy would have went #1 in THIS years draft if people knew then what they know now.

You wouldn't trade Rudy for Wiggins? Or did you mean the next draft? You wouldn't trade Rudy for Okafor?

Damn, not being able to watch games is rough. I missed something huge. I have to believe that he has shown a lot of growth, but people are getting a little too caught up in it.

I think there might be a consideration for Team needs, but landing a dude that turns shots at the rim to a "one third of the time" proposition is always needed. Especially when you consider that for all intents and purposes, Rudy is still a project. The thing I Love about Rudy is that he has a fire that I don't really see that often in players nowadays. Dude is going to improve constantly. May even shoot the three in a few years:

I would not trade him for the number one pick this year (okafor, towns)
I would not even think about trading him for giannis.

It's kind of a Hakeem, Jordan thing, you can't really go wrong. It's just that I don't see the drive in Wiggins that we know Jordan had. I'm damn sure that I wouldn't trade Gobert for Kevin Love. . .

I just hope Rudy stays healthy. The crazy thing is, as good as his D is already, he has room for a lot of improvement.
