More Republicans try and kill Democrats

One thing I have found interesting recently is conservatives championing kyrie irving. I saw many right wing folks on facebook yesterday talking about how smart Kyrie is. The reason that they think he is so smart is simply because he doesn't think the same way as most people (the "mainstream")
That is a very poor way to determine intelligence. For example, all my life the mainstream has been telling me that the reason to buy a couch is to sit or lay on it. But I think that the reason you should buy a couch is to eat it. It delicious and nutritious. I dont follow the mainstream therefore Im so smart right? Sadly if the right people starting saying that you should eat your couch many right wing folks would get home from work today, grab their forks and dig in. If its against the mainstream then it must be correct and smart.

Really though the best way to get those on the right to love you is to say something stupid and act like an *** hole, get called out for it (cancelled) and boom, they will love you.

The comments are the worst. So many sheep still believing the lies and slandering Paul Pelosi all because he gets attacked. Sickening. Hopefully Paul Pelosi can sue some of the people making up these lies. There should be consequences. But there wont be.

Perhaps Republicans should look back to how Democrats responded to the June 14, 2017, assault weapon attack on Republican representatives practicing for the annual Congressional Baseball Game. Democratic leaders knew the shooter, James Hodgkinson, was an angry, Trump-hating progressive — not crazy in the sense that David DePape is crazy, just angry, from a progressive Democratic perspective. He was a supporter of and volunteer for Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT). A watcher of Rachel Maddow and MSNBC. An absorber of Democratic talking points. A man angry enough to attack Republicans with a semi-automatic rifle and a 9 mm handgun, gravely wounding Scalise and four others.

Here is what Democrats did after the Scalise attack: They condemned the violence. They wished Scalise well. They praised law enforcement. And they moved on. They did not concede that their rhetoric might have contributed to Hodgkinson's actions. They did not even acknowledge the accusation. They quickly issued statements. Here is what then-Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi said in a statement, in its entirety:

This morning, the U.S. Congress suffered a despicable and cowardly attack. My thoughts and prayers are with Whip Steve Scalise and the others wounded, Capitol Police and staff, and their families. We are profoundly grateful for the heroism of the Capitol Police, whose bravery under fire undoubtedly saved countless lives. On days like today, there are no Democrats or Republicans, only Americans united in our hopes and prayers for the wounded.

That was it. Pelosi said several good and necessary things and did not come anywhere near acknowledging any sort of Democratic collective guilt for the shootings. And here is what Sanders, the specific object of Hodgkinson's admiration, said in a statement:

I have just been informed that the alleged shooter at the Republican baseball practice is someone who apparently volunteered on my presidential campaign. I am sickened by this despicable act. Let me be as clear as I can be: Violence of any kind is unacceptable in our society and I condemn this action in the strongest possible terms. Real change can only come about through nonviolent action, and anything else runs against our most deeply held American values.

Maybe do that instead of what ted cruz, MTG, trump jr, etc did. Dont blame the victim. Dont attack the victim. Dont grab hold of wild conspiracy theories and run with them. Dont make jokes. Show some compassion. For once. I guess thats too much to ask of the GOP

Well there were for Alex Jones, so it isn't completely hopeless.

Trump weighs in..... https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/poli...vid=c95f4a8b67834c638f65ae2a827b7bd7#comments

Former President Donald Trump has joined a chorus of conservative voices who have shared baseless conspiracy theories about the attack on House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s husband, Paul Pelosi.

During an appearance on the Chris Stigall radio show that aired Tuesday morning in Philadelphia, Trump called the attack a “sad situation” but questioned if there was more to the story being detailed by law enforcement.

“Wow, it's — weird things going on in that household in the last couple of weeks. Probably, you and I are better off not talking about it. The glass it seems was broken from the inside to the out so it wasn’t a break in, it was a break out. I don’t know, you hear the same things I do,” Trump said.

“It’s a lot of bad stuff and I'm not a fan of Nancy Pelosi, but what’s going on there is very sad,” Trump continued. “The whole thing is crazy, and if there’s even a little bit of truth to what’s being said. The window was broken in and it was strange the cops were standing there practically from the moment it all took place. So, you’re going to have to explain that to your audience, including me.”

Police reports of the incident have debunked several claims from conservatives surrounding the attack, including that the suspect David DePape, 42, previously knew Paul Pelosi and that there was no break in of the Pelosi home in San Francisco.
The FBI, in charging documents, said officers on the scene “secured a roll of tape, white rope, a second hammer, a pair of rubber and cloth gloves, and zip ties.” They also “observed a broken glass door to the back porch." They said that DePape told them he had broken into the house through the glass door using a hammer and surprised Pelosi’s husband. DePape said he intended to confront Speaker Pelosi and to see her wheeled into Congress with broken kneecaps, “which would show other Members of Congress there were consequences to actions.”

So the police and the suspect are saying everything contrary to the conspiracy theories. But cant trust the police anymore. Back the blue when its convenient.

It's so much easier to spread false conspiracies than feeling compassion for one's political opponent. Oddly enough, we all felt for Scalise when he was shot. Horrified for him. MAGAs can't rise to humanity.

Personally, the way I decide the truth is by first deciding what I want to be true.

Any evidence, made up or not, that backs that up I fully accept. Any evidence that contradicts it I immediately dismiss, regardless of how credible it is.

I perceive that to be untrue. Therefore, it is.

Am I doing it right?

I decided to google what is on hunter bidens laptop.
It seems the answer is that he lied on an application when he purchased a gun and he cheated on his taxes? Thats the huge bombshell lol. Oh noes. I was thinking there was evidence of some pedophilia or something really scandolous.
Republicans should be championing Hunter for A. Being a gun owner!!!!!! and B. Going against the IRS!!!!! These are both things that Republicans seem to think are good things. They love gun ownership and they think we should be give less money to the government.
Not only the big whiff on the laptop having info to bring down the entire Biden empire, but Joe Bags claimed that the laptop was covered up by the media.

Uhh, is that what we're calling it when the mainstream media reports what they know, which is that there are unconfirmed claims about the existence of a laptop that belonged to Hunter Biden and that info regarding it has only been provided to one news outlet? Those were the facts at the time. Reputable news outlets don't report information they can't confirm. They reported what was known to them.

I knew all about the laptop leading up to the election. I knew all info that had been released and I knew about all the unfounded claims that the info was severely damaging to Joe Biden himself. What turned out to be true is that the laptop existed and that if contained the political equivalent of a wet fart that didn't really have much relevance to Joe Biden at all and mostly just showed that Hunter Biden is a troubled person with a drug problem and some tax debt.

Whew. Bombshell. Joe Bags was telling us the whole time and WE. JUST. WOULDN'T. LISTEN!!!

He actually seems kind of like a sad sack to me. I don't know if people forget but Joe Biden lost his golden child, Beau Biden, who I am pretty sure was being groomed to be Joe's successor and even after he died no one looked at Hunter and said, well you'll do. So he's been the dark horse in that family for forever, lost his brother and didn't even move up in line.

The guy is coping with being the discarded son of the U.S. President with hookers and blow, not paying his taxes and lying on firearms background checks. For some reason the MAGA-verse thinks these facts should be the downfall of Joe Biden. They even mocked a heartfelt call from Joe Biden to Hunter that got leaked where you can basically just hear a heartbroken father begging his troubled son to reach out. That was some pretty low behavior even for a crowd that prides itself on acting like nasty little children.

Ex president Trump joins in on the spin:

“Wow, it’s — weird things going on in that household in the last couple of weeks. Probably, you and I are better off not talking about it. The glass it seems was broken from the inside to the out so it wasn’t a break in, it was a break out. I don’t know, you hear the same things I do,” Trump said.

So, the glass was broken from the inside? No, it wasn’t. Not according to the Washington Post. And not, remarkably, according to the Capital police:

“Inside the command center for the U.S. Capitol Police, a handful of officers were going through their routines early Friday morning, cycling through live feeds from the department’s 1,800 cameras used to monitor the nearby Capitol complex as well as some points beyond, when an officer stopped. On a screen showing a darkened street nearly 3,000 miles away, police lights were flashing outside the home of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), officials say.

The officer in D.C. quickly pulled up additional camera angles from around Pelosi’s home and began to backtrack, watching recordings from the minutes before San Francisco police arrived. There, on camera, was a man with a hammer, breaking a glass panel and entering the speaker’s home, according to three people familiar with how Capitol Police learned of the break-in and who have been briefed on or viewed the video themselves.”
