Instead of framing my position for me, you could read what I actually wrote and address that directly.
I never asked you to prove a negative. Even if we allow you to frame the entire discussion,
asking you to demonstrate that the Jazz are dirtier than others is not asking you to prove a negative.

Physical play has been restricted lately, but I would hardly say that there is no dirty play. I still see stars like Kobe get away with intentionally sticking an elbow or shoulder in somebody's face often. Flopping is worse than ever, i would consider that "dirty", (we haven't defined the word.)
Players are allowed to undercut drivers as much as ever, and often get a foul called on the driver in the process. Players with more status are still allowed to do more pushing than others while fighting for position.
 
The only guys I really dislike are guys who act way better than they are. In the old days I hated Steve Francis. Marbury fits the bill. Kenyon Martin. TMac tops my recent list, though he's so irrelevant now it isn't fun to hate him anymore. I never liked Isiah because he was so cocky, but he could back it up and you had to respect that. Same goes with Carmello. I have a good feeling Evan Turner could join this club, but he may never be good enough to hate.

Gotta give you props for the ability to post two such diametrically opposite opinions in the span of eight minutes. Only a true fan could recover from a moment of logical and fair minded sportsmanship so quickly. It warms my heart to see fanaticism at this level. Nicely done!

In all honesty, every member from the 2001-2002 Kings teams gets tremendous respect from me, especially Bibby Divac and Webber for being unnaturally proffesional in probably the worst officiated series in NBA history. I almost wanted the Heat to win this year, just because of him

Joe, I hate to go against you and take Lakersslapper's side, but why is it fairminded and logical to love Akeem when video shows that he was a dirty player that punched people in the face, along with getting away with 20 travels a game? You are the one showing dumb fanaticism in this instance.

Video does not support your contention of this being the worst officiated series in history. I though you were being sarcastic at first. Heck, they showed Shaq fouling out in a game. How many times did Shaq bulldoze over people all game long and NOT foul out? Weber, Christie, Bibby, Divac got a lot of calls and were hall of fame floppers, so I'd bet they were treated better than a lot of other teams against LA.
The refs probably saw the 25 free throw quarter as a makeup quarter.
 
I would consider one series of the Kings versus the Jazz as a contender for worst officiated series of all time. It may have 2002. It was around there. ALL the calls were biased for the Kings, it was ridiculous.
 
The Jazz lost to the Kings in the first round in 2002 and 2003.
The Kings got all the calls, as the Jazz had a rep for dirty play and flopping, enabling the Kings to get more calls, and get away with copious flopping and dirty play. This was the end of the careers of Stockton and Malone in Utah.

Freaking Christie, Weber and Divacs. Talk about flopping and dirty play, they were among the worst, much worse than Stockton and Malone.
 
I did like Bibby, and their backup guard was very good too, but those 2 and Christie got away with a lot against Utah.
