Mother Mistakes Daughter for Intruder, Shoots and Kills Her.

Is Oscar Pistorius a criminal? He's just another guy who's allowed to own a gun but decides to use that gun to kill his GF.

He wasn't a criminal until he decided to fire that gun.

Stop. Please stop. For your sake. For ours. Just stop.

Debate the point please. This idea that there are 'criminals' out there we need to protect ourselves against. The 'criminals' are none other than ordinary people who are allowed to own guns but uses them for criminal acts.

But who are these 'criminals'? Often times they're just everyday people like us who make bad decisions.
Really? How about showing me some evidence of all of these everyday people who snap and turn their guns on their neighbors. Your apparent impression that this is some standoff is entirely incorrect.

If you're talking about serious criminals and gangs and such then that's what the police are for.
Hello police, a gang just came by and murdered me and my family. Could you take care of that, please?

The great thing about being an adult is that I don't need to explain myself to someone who has zero ****ing clue as to what they're talking about. If you don't get it by now, you probably never will.

Oscar Pistorius?
Wow. One example, and it didn't even happen in America. In addition, his girlfriend apparently forgot to carry her gun because as you say, it's not fair for him to have one to shoot her and her not to have one to shoot him back.

This conversation is pointless. The reasons you are claiming that people want to own guns does not match the reason that they actually own guns.

Ok but you can't say definitively that all gun owners have good intentions for owning guns... (even if the majority do have good intentions).
