There is a difference between "chose" and "begged till they let me in so I would stop calling them".

The latter is a valid tactic. For example it is how I proposed.
 
I let many men do things to me that a normal person wouldn't to get into this school.
 
I got into Fordham as an undergrad in 1991 but I couldn't raise the cash (I think it was all of $250 a credit back then) so I ended up going to school with all the poor folks at the City University of New York (Brooklyn College)

I'm guessing you'll be at the Lincoln Center Campus which is a great, great part of Manhattan.

But forget about street cred. Harlem ain't what it used to be - especially on the west side where you'll be.

Mon dieu, what twenty years will do the price of tuition. Quadruple it. But I do like the Lincoln Center. Right next to the Park.



Bean, yeah. I'm taking out loans, but I don't know how much yet because I am waiting to find an apartment. Probably in Brooklyn somewheres...mebbe Queens.

Have fun. Go to Brooklyn as much as possible.
If you are into good music I can give you some names of nice underground venues to check out.
