anybody believe in this system.

problem i have with this system atleast the european version is it isn't an advice anymore. but a "Law".

here r rating is equivalent to "16" meaning no one below 16 gets in.
so even if you are with ur parents who say you may watch that movie. the theater isn't allowed to let you in. classic signs of a tyranny, they tell you what your kids may watch

aah the good ol days when i was 9 i went to the theater with my dad to watch the r rated terminator 2.

so here's to all theather's going out of bussiness.

I think it's a stupid system, but I think it's your government's fault that you have a dumb mandatory interpretation of mpaa ratings. That is hardly the mpaa's fault. the mpaa did not tell your government not to let kids in.

Oh, dutch parents should just wait until the DVD comes out, then sit down with junior and a fatty and enjoy the show and the herb together.

the difference is sometimes pretty funny for example here they are more uptight about violence and let sex/ some nudity slide.

dark knight got a 16 rating while in america pg13. because of the violence.

forgot another exmmapel where in america it got a r rating for "sex" while over here it got a "12" rating\
