I started watching it. Kinda dark at times. I like it. I killed the cable though so I'll have to wait til DVD release.
 
I'm kind of on the fence. I feel like it's sort of a mishmash of different stories I've already seen. Of course they could be intentionally misleading the audience, but I'm getting a very strong "Fight Club" thing going.

I'm definitely watching it, just not sure it's any better than average. They really throw some low ball stuff out to make the audience feel smart, a lot like a show like Law and Order does.

I like most of teh story lines besides the Tyrell one. That dude is just weird as ****.

Like someone else said, it does feel like a mishmash a bit but it is very well done.

IMO, they need to kill off Slater ASAP and go from there. He's the weakest part of the show by far. That and the semi-plagiarism.
 
Also, the lead makes the show. He's a brilliant combination of acting, modern good looks, anti-hero, chivalry, and yet antipathy.

Ep one when the girl he likes bf is trying to befriend him and he says something, "I don't want things to be awkward between us." And the lead says...

"I'm perfectly fine with things being awkward."

LOL. His delivery was spot on. Original. Just so perfect.

Killing the guy the show is named after.....

Agreed though that he is pretty weak now. Hopefully they flesh him out before the season is over.
 
Last night's episode was pretty good. Definately fun bits of discovery.

Yeah, kind of mixed on it.

Like, is Elliot that ****ed up that he wouldn't remember those things? I mean he even had a picture of her in his apartment. Like you would think he would look at it every now and then.

It seems like Mr. Robot is Elliot though, like a Fight Club thing, so that means he and Elliot were talking to each other in the limo.
 
I like that something that actually happens in every episode so far. There have been pretty much 0 boring "set-up" episodes so far.
 
Definitely the slowest episode. I expect the finale to be pretty epic.

So I guess Tyrell wants in on the hack so he can save Evil Corp at the last second and get the job he always wanted?
 
Also, Elliot looking at the popcorn machine in the last scene..... didn't Darlene stash a pistol in there in an earlier episode?

Slater doesn't need to die. He needs to fake his own death sometime after he's revealed to the public. Then he should go into hiding, showing his face only randomly.
 
This is my favorite show on TV now. Never thought I would say that about a USA show. I haven't been this excited about a show since Breaking Bad. And this is already much better than the first season of BB was. Although I doubt it will reach the highs of BB.

Damn, IDK about that. I like it a lot though, and it's probably the best show new show since BCS. I think I like BCS over this though.

I feel like BCS gets overrated because of a nostalgia factor for the greatness of BB. I think the first season was pretty slow and while it certainly will pick up I doubt it peaks with the same level as intensity as BB had or for that matter the level of craziness that a show like Mr. Robot can get to. I feel like BCS might be a more consistent show but I don't think it will have the same highs as Mr. Robot.

The acting is just so good in BCS and Saul is just a really likable and easy to relate to.
