This seems spammy, I realize, but I don't work for Mtn America nor am I receiving any perks for posting this. Just wanted to let my fellow Jazz fans know. Signed up for a new checking account at this Mountain America Credit Union and received a free Ogio Jazz backpack, which the internets retail values at 75 bucks. Checking, savings or line of credit is what gets the backpack, IIRC.

I agree, that is pretty sweet

Makes me want to open an account with them but im happy where im at.

Would definately sway me though if i was looking to change banks/credit unions
 
Depending on the minimum deposit, open up an account, get your backpack, close account later on in a few months.
 
What happened to the days of giving out toasters?
And how do I get my bread to do that?

Hmmm,,, I already have an account there and I need to open a checking account so I can sign up for a gym membership. Score!
 
The key is that after you get it, you take it to yo' grandma and have her stitch a Lakers patch/Kobe face over the Mountain America logo for the ultimate look.

But seriously, I hate that MA logo.

My sister sews a lot. I wonder if she could remove it for me. I'm here setting one up right now. LOL. Do I need to ask about the backpack or will they offer?

Hold out. Make them sweeten the deal by giving you a late first-round pick. Normally I'd say free checkbook cover, but does anyone even use checks anymore?
 
God damn it. Apparently I already had a checking account and only new accounts get the backpack... -_- I thought I only had a savings account. Am so disappoint. :(

We had to ask. I saw it advertised in a Game Time magazine at a Jazz game.
