My impressions of Copenhagen

1. I'm staying literally across the street from Christiania.
2. No, I'm not tempted. But the air sure smells sweet around here.
3. Yep, hot chicks everywhere.
4. My feet hurt.
5. Jet lag sucks.
6. So far... Pretty cool place.

I've still got CopenHagenites(wtf?) labeled as pasty.... soft...... enviro wussies in my mind, after their hosting of the Climate Change summit a few years ago. Please tell my stereotype is right.

Back in the day I preferred Skoal Straight myself.

I'm jealous. It's one of the ten cities in Europe I want to see (London, Paris, Hamburg, Copenhagen, Barcelona, Rome, Prague, Amsterdam, Lisbon, and Instanbul if it's considered Europe) before I die.

Just like everywhere else. Lots of diversity. Some are like that. Some are not.

I can give you a few under the radar places that are great too.

Do it. Please?

These are not in Copenhagen though. I moved my family over to Europe so that we could see every country in Europe.
A lot of people have seen the main cities London, Paris, Rome etc, but once you see those the real fun begins.

In Denmark there is an island called Aero, and a city called Aeroskobing which is absolutely beautiful.
We took out car on a ferry, and drove around. There are tourists there, but no Americans. So people were generally thrilled to talk to us.
It's been renovated but it's still like walking around in another time period.

My other two top recomendations that not everyone knows about are Cesky Krumluv in Czech, and Burano (a island accessible from Venice).
Those two cities are probably the most picturesque places I've ever been to.

Lefty - are you looking for nightlife, nature, historical?

Vienna man, Vienna.

I second Vienna... It is beautiful. Also, if you go under the Stephensdom you can see tons of stacked bones from the black plague.

I've only got a few places left on my to see list.

Budapest is on that list. Anyone been there?

Lisbon/Portugal, New Zealand, Brazil, Norway are also the big remaining ones.

You are correct! Fortunately I'm not in it, just near it. My frend's pad is actually really nice.

Does she always let you look at her pad?

Kind of anything. I've gone to a number of historical sights already, gone to a few places where tourists don't usually go. I'll have to see if I can get out to Aero after I get back from Germany (I'll be there for the next two days).

Not much might life here, that's for sure... I'm going out Thursday and Friday nights before leaving Saturday. If you know anyplace cool, hook a brotha up.

I know, I actually floated between it and Prague in the list. Eh, guess I'll make it 11...no need to go with round numbers all the time haha.

(I could probably make it 30 or so in reality)
