One more pic
Goes 28 mph without any peddling.... by using a thumb throttle similar to a 4wheelers

What's the theft prevention protocol with those babies? Do you lock up the main frame just as would normally and take the power source with you?

The key goes into the battery and there is a slot for unlock, off, and on..... so you can just turn the key to the off position and then remove the key and the battery will be locked onto the bike making the battery unremovable.
Or you can remove the battery and take it with you in a backpack or something

How loud is it though?
Sounding like a '95 Civic with glasspacks would just be too much.

Very very quiet..... yoy seriously can barely hear it when you are right next to it

Why didnt you just get a motorcycle for that much?

Cause I wanted to also get some exercise....... I pedal a lot and use the throttle when I get really tired or am going up a steep hill. (or if I need to be someplace quickly)

Also I would have to register a motorcycle and pay insurance..... plus I wanted to not have to buy gasoline.

Pretty cool, would be a nice thing to have.

It has actually motivated me to start going to the gym again...... I went the other day and lifted (did chest and triceps) and now I can barely move my arms.... Im in lots o pain, but no pain no gain right? Im going back to the gym today, but no lifting, just cardio and then hot tub/sauna.

Wait till you do legs. Taking a **** will be a chore.

Do you live in Utah? Is this for everyday transportation to work and such?

Yes.
I work about 6.5 miles from home, so I figure I might as well get some exercise, save money on gas, and keep my mileage low on my xterra.
Plus its just plain fun to ride.

I have not actually had the chance to ride it to work yet because of the weather so far on my work days, but on one of my days off the weather was nice so I timed myself and rode it to work just so I would know how early I have to leave in the mornings.
Took me 17 minutes to get to work (there is really nice bike trail most of the way there) and it usually takes about 13 minutes by vehicle so not much difference.

Do you get to work all sweaty and stuff?.. that's what I would hate.

Not if I don't want to..... I can use the throttle the whole way and never pedal at all.
It goes about 17 miles on a single charge.
